Continental night shift, Off every other weekend What you will be doing Oversees the operation of all processes throughout Cast House Directly responsible for the safety and development of employees Interviews prospective employees as requested by the Human Resource dept. Maintains records for his/her shift concerning pounds/hr., efficiency, utilization, and recovery rates Directs and coaches the foreperson in his/her area Develop and monitor remelt processes Conducts daily visual inspection in department to detect safety concerns Helps forepersons to increase production rates and establish new procedures Monitors house keeping Establish reasonable production rates on new jobs Monitor that all inspection reports are being filled out on his/her shift Monitor monthly safety reports are being done Perform special projects at the dept. manager's request Attends monthly safety meetings Handle department personnel concerns Support and maintain established Hydro Quality and Management System Must maintain a high level of trust and transparency at all time Required to report any all-quality related issues to the process supervisor when the issue occurs Required to participate in the investigation of such incidents that may occur by assisting their teams using tools like 5 why and root cause analysis Sponsor and support of all Continuous Reliability Improvement standards and practices through implemented predictive measures Other duties as assigned What will make you successful?

Required Education/Experience:

5 years' experience in the aluminum casting, extrusion, or related industry 5 years of prior supervisory experience in an industrial plant In depth knowledge of casting process, operation of equipment, aluminum alloys and standards, use of precision instruments and customer orders and specifications. Experience with ISO 9000 and/or

ISO/TS 16949

Quality Systems Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
