Director of Operations PrideStaff has partnered with a rapidly growing, premier specialty custom display manufacturer in West Palm Beach to find a high-caliber Production Lead / Working Operations Supervisor . Our client designs and manufactures high-end, custom display and preservation solutions trusted by clients worldwide. Because their business is scaling quickly, they need a hands-on leader who commands the production floor by example. This is not a desk job. We are looking for a true working supervisor who will work alongside the team, streamline workflows, coach employees, and ensure every finished product meets impeccable quality standards. What You'll Do (Your Day-to-Day):
Drive Daily Production:
Oversee and execute daily operations across fabrication, assembly, quality control, photography support, and shipping to ensure production goals are met. Lead from the
Floor:
Work directly alongside the team to balance labor during volume shifts, master key assembly processes, and remove operational bottlenecks.
Coach & Develop:
Train associates on precise technical processes, provide real-time feedback, and build a culture of true accountability and pride in the final product.
Protect Quality Standards:
Enforce rigorous quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to minimize errors, eliminate rework, and protect raw materials.
Report & Standardize:
Partner closely with the Director of Operations to track daily KPIs, report on progress, and implement continuous improvement initiatives. What You Need to
Succeed:
Proven Leadership:
Experience managing hourly employees in a fast-paced manufacturing, custom fabrication, assembly, or high-quality fulfillment environment. A "Working Supervisor"
Mentality:
A desire to be on your feet, solving problems in real-time, and setting the pace for the team.
Metrics-Driven Focus:
Experience utilizing daily production targets, tracking systems, and KPIs to drive team performance.
Process Improvement Skills:
The ability to identify workflow issues and implement lean strategies to help a growing operation scale. Ideal Background (Experience in any of the following is a strong plus): Custom fabrication or precision manufacturing Medical device assembly or aerospace production Electronics manufacturing Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma environments High-end, detail-oriented product fulfillment
