BEE ACCESS-PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our production team at Bee Access. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing floor, guiding a team of welders, fabricators, assembly technicians, and production support associates in producing safe, high-quality suspended access equipment. This is a hands-on leadership position that requires a strong manufacturing background, a commitment to safety, and the ability to drive performance while developing the people around you.

WHAT THE ROLE DOES
Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across welding/fabrication, permanent equipment support, product assembly, and production support functions Set daily and weekly production priorities, assign work, and ensure output targets are met on time and to quality standards Monitor workflow across assembly lines and fabrication areas, identifying and resolving bottlenecks proactively Conduct regular floor walks to observe work quality, reinforce safety protocols, and provide real-time coaching and feedback and report findings to Plant Manager Onboard, train, and develop team members; conduct performance evaluations and address performance issues with professionalism and consistency Enforce all workplace safety standards and ensure team compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies Partner with Quality Control to ensure products meet design intent and pass all required non-destructive and load testing Collaborate with Engineers on process improvements, drawing updates, cost reduction initiatives, and new product development Oversee inventory organization, material staging, and warehouse housekeeping standards across production areas Apply Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies to reduce waste and improve efficiency Maintain accurate production records, communicate status updates to management, and escalate issues as appropriate
THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
High School diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor's degree in related field a plus 3-5 years of supervisory or lead experience in a manufacturing environment required Background in metal fabrication, welding, or suspended access/construction equipment strongly preferred Familiarity with Lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, or continuous improvement Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions Forklift certified or able to obtain certification; working knowledge of safe material handling practices Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and hold a team accountable in a fast-paced production environment Capable of handling and lifting 50lbs. without assistance Demonstrates Bee Access core values: Respect, Precision, Urgency, Mastery, Positivity
