Job Description

Summary:
The Production Supervisor is responsible for setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to employees, organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules and overseeing and coaching employees.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Operations for the plant, the Production Supervisor will supervise assigned production floor lines/cells and drive the need to meet business goals efficiently and safely.

Enforce safety regulations, ensure OSHA compliance, and maintain a safe, organized work environmentSupervisor will implement Lean concepts into production processes.

Understand flow, Pull Systems, Value StreamMapping, and Visual Management.collect, analyze and audit data; provide suggestions for process improvement and cost reduction;Manage production schedule, inventory control, material presentation, and quality/safety.

Tracks operational and maintenance issues and submits work orders to prevent operational delays.

Prepare and present production reports, performance metrics, and operational updates to managementAssure all documentation information is recorded according to Good Documentation Practices.

Enforce quality standards, and implement corrective actions to maintain or exceed specificationsAssist in Root Cause Investigations.

Work with maintenance, quality control, supply chain, and other departments to optimize production.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, and/or
Experience Required:
2-5 years experience in general Manufacturing and PackagingManagement or supervisory experienceD365 exprienceKnowledge of cGDP and ISO standards.

Ability to prioritize and close deadlines.
Language Skills:
English required, bilingual (Spanish) a plus.

Physical Demands:
Position requires walking, standing for prolonged periods, occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. May frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment:
Non-temperature-controlled warehouse, non-temperature-controlled production floor, temperature-controlled office.
