Crating Supervisor

About the job The Crating Supervisor is responsible for managing daily operations within the Crating Department, including crate production, repairs, recycling processes, and support of baling and foam pelletizing operations. This hands-on leadership role works to ensure productivity, safety, and operational efficiency. We're looking for someone who

• Has experience leading teams in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment
• Is comfortable supervising 6-10 employees and coordinating daily workflow
• Is forklift certified
• Is mechanically inclined and confident using hand and power tools
• Demonstrates strong organizational and time management skills
• Can effectively track production activity and part usage
• Understands and enforces workplace safety standards
• Is flexible to support extended shifts and occasional Saturday work as needed
• Enjoys working in a hands-on environment for the majority of the day What you'll do
• Supervise and support a team of 6-10 employees within the Crating Department
• Plan and coordinate daily and long-term production workflow
• Build, repair, and recycle crates of various sizes
• Monitor and record daily production and material usage
• Maintain safe work practices and enforce company safety standards
• Support baling and foam pelletizing operations as needed
• Assist with staffing adjustments, including temporary labor and extended hours during high-demand periods
• Operate forklifts and use hand/power tools safely and effectively
• Work alongside the team in a hands-on production environment for more than 50% of the workday

Pay:

$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
