Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations during the second shift. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your leadership will motivate teams to meet production goals while maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members on the 2nd shift, ensuring smooth workflow on the assembly line. Monitor daily production targets and troubleshoot operational issues promptly to minimize downtime. Enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits to maintain a secure working environment for all employees. Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to assist with equipment setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting as needed. Oversee the proper use of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and power tools, ensuring compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with quality control teams to uphold product standards and address any defects or deviations immediately. Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and inventory logs to support operational transparency and continuous improvement efforts. Skills Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on assembly line supervision. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with experience using hand tools, power tools, and warehouse equipment like forklifts. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple priorities effectively. Familiarity with factory safety procedures, OSHA regulations, and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment. Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues quickly and efficiently during production shifts. Prior warehouse experience is advantageous, especially in managing inventory or logistics operations. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, management, and other departments.
