Machine Shop Supervisor

A well-established manufacturer with more than 80 years of mechanical innovation is seeking a Machine Shop Supervisor in Donalsonville, GA. This is an exciting opportunity to join a family-oriented production environment known for custom-built process equipment, strong benefits, and a stable 4-day workweek structure. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Machine Shop Supervisor position include: Proven CNC machining and programming experience, with at least 5 years of machining/programming experience required. Supervise and coordinate daily shop activities for a team of 10 or fewer employees. Program and set up Mazak CNC lathes, including Mazatrol T Plus and SmoothG CNC controllers. Operate manual lathes and mills while supporting milling, lathe work, and CAD/CAM programming. Conduct quality inspections using calipers and precision measuring instruments. Collaborate with engineering teams to improve processes, design fixtures, and implement tooling solutions. Manage production schedules, inventory levels, packaging, and workflow to minimize downtime. Maintain compliance with safety regulations while supporting a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment.

Salary:

$52,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
