Job Description:

Manufacturing Team Leader Manufacture quality products as required by the Company and its customers by managing the use of the most appropriate resources, machinery, plant and equipment. 1. Support management initiatives - set-up reductions, waste reduction, effective use and management of resources. Monitor and maintain relevant company KPI's. 2. Strong focus on machine cleanliness. Support preventative maintenance procedures. Product changes are executed efficietly and on time to meet specific targets/deadlines. Analysis of data to target machine not performing to expected efficiency. 3. Maintain a close working relationship with planning, ensuring day to day activities are controlled as required to meet customer supply as and when required; ensuring high standards are always maintained. Reporting defects or misuse to all relevant departments and/or senior management. 4. Manage discipline of the resources available on shift. 5. Implement and maintain "5S" standards - be a role model. 6. Support all continuous improvements projects. 7. Systems - effective use of Mertex and Barco and completion of all paperwork. 8. Monitor output to ensure that what we produce is within specification, rejecting/reporting any that does not meet the standard.
