Location:
Flowery Branch, GA.
Pay Range:
$65,000 - $75,000 (Based on experience) Monday - Friday, 1st Shift (Flexible) 40hrs/wk. The Production Manager oversees daily operations within the manufacturing and materials processing area, ensuring a safe, efficient, and high-performing work environment. This individual will lead, coach, and develop team members while maintaining operational excellence, safety standards, and customer satisfaction. Day to
Day:
Lead and manage a team responsible for material processing, loading/unloading, and job staging operations. Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet targets. Monitor workflow and productivity, ensuring consistent output and adherence to company standards. Promote and enforce safety policies, ensuring compliance with all safety training and procedures. Identify and resolve operational challenges through proactive communication and problem-solving. Collaborate with other departments (Sales, Logistics, Purchasing, etc.) to optimize workflow and customer outcomes. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Coach, train, and motivate employees. Foster a positive, team-oriented culture — and have fun doing it!
Skill Set:
Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, lumber, or building materials environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to lead and inspire a diverse team. Working knowledge of production operations, safety standards, and quality control. Ability to read and interpret measurements and complete basic math problems. Physical ability to occasionally assist on the floor as needed (handling up to 55 pounds). Forklift certification or willingness to complete company certification program. Highly organized, responsible, and motivated with a hands-on management style. Commitment to maintaining a positive attitude and promoting teamwork.
