Job Description

One of our clients is currently seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee second-shift operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for leading production personnel, maintaining quality and safety standards, and ensuring daily production objectives are achieved. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who excels at developing teams and driving operational performance. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and supervise daily production activities to meet production, quality, and safety goals Organize work assignments, provide direction, and support employees throughout the shift Train, coach, and develop team members while fostering a positive and productive work environment Ensure efficient workflow and proper utilization of personnel and resources Complete and maintain production, shipping/receiving, safety, and sanitation documentation Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards and specifications Assist with production responsibilities as needed to support operational demands Promote and maintain a strong safety culture, including proper use of PPE Enforce company policies, procedures, and attendance expectations Work cross-functionally with plant leadership to support operational goals Qualifications High school diploma or GED required Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing, processing, or industrial environment Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Experience training, coaching, and developing employees Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Bilingual English/Spanish skills preferred Experience in food processing, meat processing, or a related industry is a plus Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack certification Service-oriented mindset with the ability to work effectively as part of a team Work Environment Manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to cool and wet conditions Regular interaction with raw materials and industrial production equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Standing, walking, and active floor supervision throughout the shift Strict adherence to safety, sanitation, and PPE requirements Comprehensive benefits package including (but not limited to) health, dental, vision and 401k #JDP
