Job Description

Job Purpose:
As a Supervisor for BFP-Cutstock2 at The Beasley Group, you'll be the go-to person for making sure everything runs smoothly in our production line. You'll lead a team, manage resources, and ensure that we hit our production targets while maintaining quality and safety standards. Your role is crucial in keeping our operations efficient and our team motivated.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations in the Cutstock2 section, ensuring production goals are met. Lead and mentor a team of production workers, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Monitor equipment and machinery to ensure they are functioning properly and safely. Collaborate with other departments to coordinate production schedules and resolve any issues. Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members. Track and report on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement. Assist in training new employees and provide ongoing support and guidance to the team. Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Required Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment. Previous supervisory experience is a plus, but not a must-have. Experience with cut stock operations or similar production processes is preferred.
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong leadership skills to guide and motivate a team. Good communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems quickly and efficiently. Basic understanding of safety protocols in a production setting. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Familiarity with production equipment and machinery is beneficial. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
