Job Title:
Production Supervisor Job Description As a Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing staff to ensure productivity and alignment with client satisfaction goals. You will adapt quickly and make decisions to adjust plans and schedules to meet customer requirements, participate in and lead initiatives such as 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement events, and demonstrate strong leadership and employee motivational skills. Your role will include handling employee-related issues, including reviews and record-keeping, communicating effectively across all organizational levels, and identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency. Responsibilities Manage and oversee staff to ensure productivity and alignment with client satisfaction goals. Adapt quickly and make decisions to adjust plans and schedules to meet customer requirements. Participate in and lead initiatives such as 5S, Lean, and continuous improvement events. Demonstrate strong leadership and employee motivational skills. Handle employee-related issues, including reviews and record-keeping. Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, across all organizational levels. Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency. Essential Skills CNC mill and CNC lathe operation. 1-3 years of production supervisory experience. Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting. Understanding of GD&T and G code. Experience with SAP systems and reporting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Associate's or Technical Degree preferred. 1-3 years of production experience, preferably in a supervisory or lead role. Strong knowledge of MS Office applications. Understanding of work standards and production processes. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Ability to build positive relationships and foster team collaboration. Work Environment Work in an industrial, non-climate-controlled environment that is dusty and typical of a machine shop. The role is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet all day in a large plant. The shift runs from 5 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Thursday, with most Fridays also requiring work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kennesaw, GA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $40.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
