No The estimated base salary range for this role is "$76,000 to $95,500" per year. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience and other relevant factors

We draw on each other's strengths and allow for different work styles to build engagement and satisfaction to deliver results. ​We have a terrific career opportunity for a Production Supervisor who can effectively motivate and manage a team of people responsible for producing ceiling tiles. The work involves coaching and developing your staff, improving performance, effectively scheduling the work, and always seeking new and better ways to optimize your team's contribution to the Company. You will also work closely with a multi-functional team in implementing process improvement and cost reduction initiatives using innovative tools such as Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and equipment optimization. Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, you will supervise a team that produces high-quality building products. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a critical manufacturing position, producing a tangible product. There will be many opportunities to learn and enhance your skills in diverse areas, such as process improvement, equipment maintenance and optimization, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Collaboration and an open friendly team environment. What does a Production Supervisor do? Leads, manages, hires, and trains a production crew of about 20 employees

Promotes and ensures a safe work environment, including training the crew and adhering to Company and governmental policies and regulations

Ensures production goals are met or exceeded, including yield, throughput, and quality

Participates in continuous improvement initiatives using tools such as Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement techniques Meets objectives for Plant Reliability measures (% uptime, % line rate, % scrap rate)

Ensures equipment maintenance and optimization, providing training for the crew and handling equipment troubleshooting

Prepares daily production schedules and ensuring schedule adherence Ensures environmental compliance

Works with maintenance and engineering to optimize the equipment performance and reliability Required Qualifications Recent work experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

High school diploma or equivalent

Highly effective communication skills (both written and verbal)

Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and successfully execute tasks in accordance with business objectives

Proven ability to implement change in manufacturing and/or maintenance systems

Basic computer proficiency with email and with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint

Basic knowledge of key OSHA regulations (such as Confined Spaces, Electrical Safety, Energy Isolation and Machine Safeguarding)

Proven incident investigation skills and familiarity with structured tools (such as Root Cause Failure Analysis or 5 Why)

Ability to and willingness to work different shifts What will make you stand out At least 3 years of full-time production supervision experience in a manufacturing environment

Bachelor's degree in business, technical or related field

Experience working with a unionized workforce
