Job Description
BRAVA Roof Tile is seeking a Production Supervisor (2nd Shift) to lead our McDonough, GA manufacturing operations. In this role, you will oversee daily production activities, ensure safety and quality standards are met, and coordinate team efforts to optimize efficiency. Your leadership will drive continuous improvement initiatives and foster a collaborative environment that promotes high performance and accountability. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Review the previous shift's performance and ensure an effective transition between shifts through clear communication of production status, priorities, and outstanding issues. Manage shift staffing, scheduling, and employee timekeeping to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient operations. Lead the team in achieving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) performance targets. Maintain and update SQDC performance boards daily and effectively communicate key metrics during Gemba Walks and production meetings. Ensure production schedules are met by working closely with Planning and Scheduling to achieve on-time shipping and customer delivery goals. Enforce compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and company policies to ensure safe, consistent, and high-quality production. Promote a strong safety culture by ensuring compliance with all safety policies, conducting safety observations, addressing hazards promptly, and leading by example. Respond to employee questions, provide guidance, and foster open communication to support a positive work environment. Partner with Production Leads and Process Technicians to troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Manage employee attendance, timekeeping, and labor records within Paycom, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Regular floor presence to ensure adherence to safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards. Support employee performance management by providing ongoing coaching, documenting performance concerns, recognizing achievements, and participating in performance evaluations. Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement while maintaining a positive, respectful, and results-oriented work environment. Qualifications Proven supervisor experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to lead a team effectively, motivate staff, and communicate clearly across shifts. Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and OSHA regulations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. Monday - Thursday (7:00p - 7:00a). Future rotating 2-2-3 schedule.
