Description Chatham County Administrative Services is seeking an Assistant Document and Production Supervisor. Do you have experience in print shop operations and messenger and mail services for a large, complex organization? Consider applying for this supervisory opportunity. Examples of Duties Processes pre-sorted mailings, including sorting mass mailings by zip codes, preparing mail, counting reports, presenting reports to the post office, and adjusting when necessary. Prepares Commissioners' agenda which includes delivering the agenda to appropriate staff and preparing docket for meetings. Receives and processes other County department requests, including receiving requests for services and assigning related duties to staff. Attends and records Commissioners' meetings. Supervises printing, mail, and messenger personnel in the absence of the assigned supervisor. Trains and monitors mail clerk activities. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED, and At least two (2) years of experience in the operation of offset printing; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory experience. During emergencies and disasters affecting Chatham County, you may be required to report to work as part of a disaster operations team. In accordance with the Department of Transportation, Commercial Driver's License (CDL) holders and those employed in safety-sensitive positions are subject to random drug testing. Candidates with direct and relevant experience may receive an offer of up to 10% above the minimum salary that is posted, reflecting their exceptional qualifications.
