Job Description

Lead the Production Floor in Beautiful Savannah! Are you a print production expert ready to step into a leadership role? We are looking for a Printing Department Manager to oversee our wide-format production team. This role combines high-level shop management with the "hands-on" technical expertise our shop was built on. You will lead a dedicated team of six production specialists, ensuring that our workflow is seamless, our quality is unmatched, and our deadlines are met. If you are a natural leader who isn't afraid to jump on a laminator or help with a complex installation when the team needs an extra hand, this is the role for you.
salary:
$75,000 - $76,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5

High SchoolResponsibilities Team Leadership:
Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 6 production and finishing specialists. Manage daily schedules, performance, and professional development.
High-Level Production:
Oversee the operation of wide-format printers, cutters, and laminators. Act as the final point of quality control for all banners, vinyl, and signage.
Workflow Optimization:
Manage the entire production queue. You ll be responsible for identifying bottlenecks, improving efficiency, and ensuring clear communication between the production floor and the sales/installation teams.
Installation Strategy:
Coordinate with install crews to ensure materials are organized and ready. Occasionally lead or assist with high-profile or complex installations.
Asset Management:
Oversee inventory procurement, manage vendor relationships, and ensure all equipment is maintained on a strict schedule to minimize downtime.
