Manhole Rehabilitation Foreman

Metals & Materials Engineers is a state licensed General and Utility Contractor specializing in water, sewer, and drainage construction and manhole rehabilitation for state and local governments. Honesty, integrity, and hard work are the pillars on which MME was founded 35 years ago. MME is seeking a dependable Foreman for our Manhole Rehabilitation division.

Stone Mountain GA Summary of Job:

This position includes supervision of crew members during the application of 100% solids epoxies and high-performance concretes that aid in the protection of underground infrastructure. In this position you are also expected to adapt to new technologies and different means and methods associated with Infrastructure Rehabilitation.

Summary of essential job functions:

1) Supervision of crew Ensure products are being applied in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations and project specifications. Ensure the crew is working in accordance with OSHA and Rowland, Inc's safety plan. Ensure all daily equipment maintenance/inspection is performed and visually verified by you. 2) Documentation Responsible for documenting crew times and inventory via computer or paper time sheet. Ensure inspectors have copies of production at the end of every day. Ensure time and material project's values/quantities are agreed upon at the end of every day. If working out of town or if you are out, pictures/scans of time sheets must be text/emailed at the start of the following workday. 3) Production At the start of every job, a schedule (verbally or physically) will be made available. All means must be used to ensure the schedule is met in a safe and productive manner. 4) Oversite You are responsible for everything your crew does or fails to do. It is up to you to set the pace of work and maintain Rowland, Inc. standards. Damaged or disabled equipment must be reported immediately to both the Shop foreman and your immediate supervisor. Report low levels of inventory (materials) to your supervisor prior to leaving the shop.

Qualifications:

Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines. Able to receive and follow instructions. Reliable, responsible, and dependable. Ability to work effectively as a team. A valid driver's license (required).
