Production Supervisor 3rd Shift

Reports to - Production Operations Manager Hours 11:00pm-7:30am Weekends Job Responsibilities Holds safety in high regard, follows all safety rules for food, equipment, and general operations. Takes responsibility for own safety by acting in a safe manner at all times. Takes responsibility for the safety of their team by calling out unsafe behavior on the spot. Is accountable for compliance with all food safety programs including HACCP and BRC. Will interact with Quality Assurance to resolve any product issues that involve any aspect of the production facility. Actively participates in and acts as a champion and leader for the LEAN management program, striving to increase efficiency and eliminate waste. Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times. Direct and Manage shift operations for production. Ensures that adequate resources are available to safely and effectively complete the production schedule. Coordinate shift activities with all departments to ensure company objectives are achieved in a timely and cost effective manner. Accountable for varying number of direct reports. Must manage employee training, daily work flow, productivity, supervision, discipline, motivation and performance of all employees on shift. Provide leadership and training to achieve company goals in safety, performance and profitability. Provide clear communication as needed to support new and current business opportunities. Ensure that the production areas are up to company standard on a daily basis, including but not limited to daily cleaning and inspections and audits. Why work for Nor-Am? Competitive Pay.
