Cut Floor Supervisor

As a Cut Floor Supervisor at Prestage, you will lead and coordinate the daily operations on the cut floor to ensure smooth production, high-quality output, and adherence to safety standards. You will supervise a team of employees, manage workflow, and work closely with other departments to meet production goals efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and guide cut floor staff to ensure efficient and accurate operations. Manage and prioritize daily production schedules and workloads. Monitor product quality and compliance with food safety and sanitation standards. Enforce safety protocols and promote a safe working environment. Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to employees. Coordinate with management and other departments to optimize processes and resolve issues. Maintain accurate records of production, staffing, and inventory levels. Address and troubleshoot any equipment malfunctions or operational challenges promptly.

Requirements Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing or meat processing environment.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and quality control standards. Familiarity with operational procedures and relevant software tools.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks. Capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds. Comfort working in cold and wet facility environments.

Additional Requirements:
