$90k+ DOEHours:
2 nd shift, 4 pm- 2:30 am Monday through Thursday We are seeking a hands-on 2 nd Shift Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations within a food manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct daily manufacturing activities, manage line schedules, and optimize output to achieve volume goals while maintaining high team morale.
- Enforce adherence to OSHA, HACCP, GMPs, and internal quality/food safety guidelines; participate in routine facility audits and oversee product changeovers.
- Track production metrics, identify operational bottlenecks, reduce waste, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Mentor floor staff, coordinate onboarding/training for new hires, manage attendance, and foster a collaborative team culture.
- Oversee inventory, labor, and equipment allocation; accurately log production data into the ERP system to maintain operational visibility.
- Build cross-departmental operational knowledge to support business continuity and provide supervisory coverage as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.Experience:
2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in a food, beverage, or CPG manufacturing environment preferred.Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards highly preferred.
Schedule:
Must be available to work 2nd shift hours.Key Competencies:
