Paint Shop Supervisor - Lead Industrial Painter (3 yrs exp req)

We are hiring a Paint Shop Supervisor to run and manage our paint shop. This is not just a painter position. We are specifically looking for someone who has experience actually running a paint department in a manufacturing, industrial, or automotive environment.

You must have experience managing:

Paint crew leadership and management experience (required) Production flow and scheduling Material usage and inventory Work quality and rework Paint systems and processes Shop organization and accountability This is a hands-on leadership role. You will be expected to paint alongside the team while keeping production moving and maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Run day-to-day paint shop operations Schedule and prioritize production work Lead and manage paint shop employees Prep, paint, and finish equipment Mix and match paint for standard and custom jobs Coordinate with fabrication, welding, and assembly departments Maintain paint inventory and supplies Inspect completed work and correct quality issues Improve efficiency, organization, and consistency in the shop

Requirements:

3-5+ years of industrial, manufacturing, or automotive painting experience Previous experience running a paint shop or paint department Experience managing employees and production schedules Strong understanding of paint systems, prep work, and finishing Ability to maintain quality while keeping production on schedule Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Preferred :

Experience with agricultural equipment, trailers, or heavy equipment Experience improving shop systems and workflow
