The Plant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily inspection processes, ensuring that inspection goals, quality standards, and safety regulations are met by managing workflow, staff, and equipment in a fast-paced environment. Key duties involve planning, scheduling, and organizing the inspection team's tasks, monitoring workflow to maintain efficiency and quality, troubleshooting issues, and coaching staff to improve performance. This role requires strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Key Responsibilities Under the direction of a
Plant Manager:
Monitors FlexXray's compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards- Notify Plant Manager of non-compliant practices. Manage, maintain, and implement FlexXray's Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP)
- Recommend update to Plant Manager. Manage, maintain, and implement FlexXray's Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) program
- Recommend updates to Plant Manager. Monitor x-ray, dud detection and bundle line compliance with FlexXray's SSOP and HACCP programs. Coordinate corrective action with the Inspection Line Leads. Brief Plant Manager on corrective action taken and document. Review inspection reports for quality and conformance to FlexXray's procedures
- Turn reports into the front office daily
- Recommend change(s) to Plant Manager. Review inspection line seed logs for quality and conformance to FlexXray's procedures. Turn reports into the front office daily
