This role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Production Supervisor with injection molding expertise to lead production operations, drive continuous improvement, and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
Lead and stabilize production operations on the assigned shift.

Ensure products meet quality standards by performing production inspections and partnering with Quality Assurance.

Troubleshoot manufacturing and processing issues to improve efficiency, quality, and profitability.

Develop and implement corrective actions to address quality concerns.

Evaluate team performance and complete employee performance reviews and corrective actions as needed.

Manage daily staffing, including call-ins, vacation coverage, and overtime requirements.

Enforce company safety policies, procedures, and manufacturing standards.

Utilize MRP systems to support production scheduling and workflow.

Participate in Layered Process Audits (LPA) and continuous improvement initiatives.

Coach, mentor, and develop production employees while fostering a positive team environment.

Collaborate with management to achieve production, quality, and operational goals.

Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, 80/20, and continuous improvement programs.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.10+ years of experience in the injection molding industry.

Previous manufacturing leadership or supervisory experience.

Strong understanding of injection molding processes and troubleshooting.

Experience with
ISO 9001
quality standards.

Familiarity with MRP systems and production scheduling.

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
