Job Description

Production Supervisor Tech Global is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead our production assembly operations in the display and touchscreen manufacturing sector. This role is critical for driving daily efficiency, maintaining high quality standards, and supporting our team in delivering innovative products to customers. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at troubleshooting, and is committed to continuous improvement and team development. Key Responsibilities Hands-on involvement in daily production assembly operations to support production goals and assist team members as needed. Monitor daily workflow and staffing to ensure balanced workloads and efficient production output. Perform routine production floor audits to ensure adherence to quality standards, assembly procedures, and safety requirements. Troubleshoot production issues in real time and work directly with employees to resolve assembly, quality, or process-related concerns. Coordinate with engineering, purchasing, and warehouse teams to prevent production delays and material shortages. Assist in implementing corrective actions related to customer complaints, QC findings, and production nonconformances. Maintain organization and cleanliness of production areas in accordance with company standards and safety practices. Track employee productivity, attendance, and performance while providing coaching and accountability where needed. Assist with production scheduling adjustments based on changing priorities, shortages, or expedited orders. Verify completed work orders, production documentation, and QC records for accuracy and completion. Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing defects, increasing efficiency, and improving overall production flow. Cross-train employees across multiple production processes to improve flexibility and coverage within the department. Ensure proper usage and maintenance of production tools, fixtures, and equipment. Assist with inventory accuracy through routine cycle counts and material verification within production areas. Serve as the primary point of contact on the production floor for day-to-day operational questions and escalation issues.
Qualifications Experience:
3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, preferably in electronics, displays, or precision assembly.
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control (QC), lean manufacturing principles, and safety regulations (OSHA or equivalent).
Leadership:
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams while holding individuals accountable.
Problem-Solving:
Excellent troubleshooting and real-time decision-making skills.
Software/Systems:
Proficiency with production tracking systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel for reporting).
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
Other:
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime or weekends to meet production demands. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Reports to Production Manager.
