YOUR TASKS
Manage and oversee the operations of the specific production group in accordance with company standards and procedures. Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to team members, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Monitor and control production outputs, performing regular quality checks and making necessary adjustments. Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules. Handle performance reviews of team members, implementing training and development plans as necessary. Investigate and resolve any production performance issues, implementing corrective actions promptly to minimize downtime. Liaise with other departments, such as quality control, maintenance, and supply chain, to ensure smooth operations and timely production. Enforce company policies and standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Assist in the development and implementation of operational improvements, working towards achieving production goals and objectives. Compile and maintain production reports, recording all relevant data and statistics of the production group. Participate in the hiring process of new production staff, and ensure proper induction and training is given. Maintain effective communication with team members, addressing any concerns or suggestions promptly.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
Starting Hourly Wage:
$25.50 Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and other techniques for maximizing operational efficiency. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team effectively. Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements. Proficiency in relevant manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, with excellent organizational and planning skills. Understanding and commitment to complying with all safety, health and environmental rules and regulations. Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision. Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Strong record-keeping abilities, with experience in preparing and maintaining production reports and schedules.
