• Frankfort, IL | $33-40/hr | Fabrication & Production Leadership Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead daily operations across welding, fabrication, machining, and assembly areas.

This role oversees workflow, assigns jobs, monitors quality, and ensures projects stay on schedule. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to maintain a safe, organized, and productive shop environment. Key Responsibilities + Production Supervision

• Supervise and support production staff across welding, fabrication, machining, and assembly. + Workflow Management
• Assign daily work orders, manage job sequencing, and ensure deadlines are met. + Quality Control
• Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications. + Training & Mentorship
• Train and mentor team members on equipment, processes, and safety procedures. + Cross-Department Collaboration
• Work with engineering and management to resolve issues and improve processes. + Safety & Organization
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; enforce OSHA and company safety policies. + Production Tracking
• Track progress, update leadership, and ensure accurate reporting. + Hands-On Support
• Assist with welding or fabrication tasks when needed.

+ Enforce company policies and maintain a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Qualifications + 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, metal fabrication, or a related industrial environment. + Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred. + Strong understanding of welding, fabrication, machining, and shop equipment. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders. + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. + Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. + Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. Work Environment You will work in a clean, well-organized shop alongside a team of 20-25 machinists, welders, fabricators, and mechanics. The environment includes CNC machines, welding equipment, fabrication tools, saws, and other industrial machinery. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00
