Production Supervisor (Injection Molding)

Production Supervisor The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within a plastics injection molding department, ensuring production goals, quality standards, and safety expectations are met. This is a hands-on leadership role supporting a small manufacturing team and supervising approximately 5-7 technicians operating Krauss Maffei injection molding machines. Requirements of the Production Supervisor Minimum of 5 years of injection molding experience in a manufacturing environment Previous supervisory or team lead experience preferred Strong hands-on experience with injection molding machine setup and changeovers Solid understanding of molds, tooling, and troubleshooting molding processes Experience working with Krauss Maffei machines is a plus Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to coach and guide employees Ability to multitask and manage production priorities in a fast-paced environment Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor Oversee daily operations of the injection molding department to ensure production and quality goals are achieved Supervise and support a team of technicians operating injection molding machines Perform and assist with machine setups, mold changes, and process adjustments Troubleshoot molding and equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with company standards Train, coach, and support employees to improve performance and productivity Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and production teams to support operations Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment Support continuous improvement initiatives within the department 1st shift: 6:30 AM•3:00 PM (DIRECT HIRE) Occasional overtime required

Pay:
