00 Hourly Position Type Full Time Job Shift First Shift Apply Description Come Join Bridgeway! The Production Quality Lead provides oversight of and inspections on general production work. Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in process production, and finished products, recording quality results. To learn more about this position, please read the summarized list of duties below:
  • Assist and/or trains production or rehabilitation staff on part acceptably, measurement and process procedures as required. Reports quality problem findings to the Director of Production & Business Development and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place.
  • Visually compares work pieces against one another to assess/detect manufacturing variations in process. Maintains record of inspections and prepares list of defects, interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts.
  • Ensure that all of the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase.
  • Approve incoming materials by confirming specification; conducting visual and measurement test; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials, also approves in process production by confirming specification; conducting visual and measurement test; communicating required adjustment to production supervisor and approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement test returning product for re-working; conforming re-work.
  • Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste, inputting data into quality database.
Minimum requirements include a High school diploma or GED, or one to three months related experience and/or training. Must also have reliable transportation.
