Production/Quality Lead Loves Park, IL 61111 Apply Overview Salary Range $17.00
- $19.
- Assist and/or trains production or rehabilitation staff on part acceptably, measurement and process procedures as required. Reports quality problem findings to the Director of Production & Business Development and follows up to ensure that corrective action has/will take place.
- Visually compares work pieces against one another to assess/detect manufacturing variations in process. Maintains record of inspections and prepares list of defects, interacts with other departments to ensure compliance with specification and to facilitate the acceptance of parts.
- Ensure that all of the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase.
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specification; conducting visual and measurement test; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials, also approves in process production by confirming specification; conducting visual and measurement test; communicating required adjustment to production supervisor and approves finished products by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement test returning product for re-working; conforming re-work.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste, inputting data into quality database.
