This position is responsible for establishing production plans that will achieve an efficient and stable flow through the manufacturing process. Must coordinate production with planning and be responsible for line performance versus plan. Oversee the sequencing personnel to ensure requirements and capacities are correct, and that budgeted ticket volume and size achievement are attained. Help to ensure that the plant meets organizational goals and objectives in Quality, Cost, Customer Satisfaction, and Safety.
Develop, monitor and communicate all areas of production to assure shiftly, daily, and weekly optimized production plan is being met.
Supervise and hold accountable Sequencers and assist them in their daily jobs including schedule adherence.
Anticipate bottlenecks: propose changes in production priorities, work to improve plant flexibility.
Work with production department managers to develop plans that ensure adherence to needed schedules.
Continually evaluating the performance of direct reports.
Knowledgeable and capable of upgrading computerized scheduling procedures.
Collaborate with support teams for computer systems (SAP, SFI, MITS, EWM).Conform to all specifications, standards, policies, and governmental regulations.
Assists in the rollout and implementation of computer systems.
Review production results against the master schedule and take corrective action as require.
Check production records, review material outages, inventories, equipment downtime, and counter measure to improve scheduling process.
Review all specifications, tire releases and approvals, equipment specifications, standard practices, and stock dispositions to ensure necessary scheduling activities take place. Countermeasure any deficiencies.
Ensure production plans do not exceed plants' ability to achieve schedule attainment through participation and attendance to weekly meetings.
Ensure all ESH procedures, policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

The starting annual salary for this role is $92,500 a year.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree of Science or Arts in related fieldPrior manufacturing experience. Visa sponsorship may be available for qualified internal Continental employeesPreferred Qualifications:

Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. The job is within a non-climate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, and noise.
