We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Laser Shop Supervisor to lead daily operations within our laser department and support continued growth, quality, and operational excellence. Position Summary The Laser Shop Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily production activities within the laser department, assigning work to operators, supporting machine setups, troubleshooting production issues, and helping ensure a safe and quality-driven work environment. This role requires a strong technical background in CNC laser operations, leadership experience, and the ability to work closely with operators, engineering, and management to maintain efficient production flow. Key Responsibilities Supervise and support daily laser shop operations Assign work and prioritize production schedules for operators Assist with machine setups and support setup operators to ensure efficient and high-quality setups Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues in collaboration with engineering and leadership Enforce company safety, quality, and operational policies Support operators with technical and production concerns Ensure parts are manufactured to customer specifications using control plans, drawings, and work instructions Promote teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement within the department Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required Minimum 5 years of CNC laser experience Minimum 3 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment Strong blueprint reading experience Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and lead others effectively Experience using calipers, micrometers, and standard inspection equipment Working knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Outlook Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed Candidates must qualify as a U.S. Person under

regulations Schedule & Compensation Full-time position 40+ hours per week with overtime and weekend work as needed Hourly pay plus overtime Compensation based on experience, skill level, and qualifications Work Location This is a fully onsite position located in Naperville, IL and requires daily in-person attendance.
