Industrial Recyclers/Recycled Polymer Solutions is a leading producer of reprocessed plastic resin, committed to sustainability, performance, and innovation in the recycling industry. Our mission is to provide high-quality, cost-effective, and environmentally responsible plastic materials for a wide range of manufacturing applications. The primary function of a supervisor is to review production schedules, create and execute plans for completion, ensuring to maintain a safe, efficient and organized work environment; while providing leadership and guidance to all shift personnel. Primary responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to) the following: Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities to meet output, quality and safety targets. Lead daily shift meetings, communicate production goals and foster a culture of accountability. Work with employees for training and development, creating a strong team Enforcing rules and procedures Support employee training and development to build team skills and knowledge Maintain accurate production records, shift reports and performance metrics. Communicate with other department supervisors and managers regarding interdepartmental activities Establish and review work schedules and production rates for all machines/areas Monitor production schedules and adjust staffing, equipment and workflow as needed. Have a solid understanding of manufacturing processes and assist as needed Inspect and examine parts, raw materials, finished goods for quality and provide feedback to team members Work with management to resolve problems or complaints as they arrive Interpret job tickets, company policies and procedures for associates Work with company ERP software (IRIS) Champion continuous improvement initiatives (lean, 5S, Kaizen, Six Sigma, etc)

Knowledge/Skills/Experience:

English language — Ability to effectively communicate, both in written and spoken. 5+ years of prior supervisor experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred Quality control analysis inspections of products Strong computer skills; including Microsoft Office Suite Detail orientated Problem solving Demonstrate excellent interpersonal abilities Proven track record of building and maintaining successful teams We currently run a 24/7 production operation and are looking to fill the supervisor role on a continuous 2-2-3 schedule (7 pm to am).
