full-time Beacon Search Group has a client in the Butler, IN area seeking a Stamping Supervisor. This is a direct hire position with full benefits! Position Summary The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong manufacturing experience and the ability to coach employees, resolve production issues, and drive continuous improvement. Automotive stamping or press room experience is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Press Room production associates. Assign work, monitor production performance, and ensure daily production goals are achieved. Provide leadership, coaching, training, and development to production employees. Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with established specifications and standards. Oversee machine setups, equipment adjustments, and production changeovers as needed. Interpret production schedules, job orders, and work instructions and communicate priorities to the team. Identify and resolve production, equipment, quality, and personnel issues. Recommend improvements to manufacturing processes, equipment performance, productivity, and product quality. Partner with Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to support production requirements. Maintain accurate production, labor, attendance, and departmental records. Support employee performance management, including coaching, recognition, and corrective action. Conduct accident investigations and assist with corrective actions when necessary. Train and onboard new employees. Ensure compliance with company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives throughout the Press Department. Qualifications 3-5+ years of manufacturing experience with previous supervisory or team leadership experience. Proven ability to lead production teams and achieve safety, quality, and productivity objectives. Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to interpret production schedules, work instructions, and manufacturing requirements. Basic computer and production recordkeeping skills. Preferred Experience Automotive manufacturing experience. Metal stamping and/or Press Room experience. Experience supervising employees in a high-volume manufacturing environment. Bachelor's degree or other relevant education/training is preferred but not required.
