Operations Manager Position Summary We are seeking an experienced and motivated Assembly Department Supervisor to lead daily operations within our assembly and production area. This role is responsible for supervising personnel, coordinating workflow, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, plumbing, manufacturing, or related trades, along with proven leadership and supervisory experience. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily assembly area operations and personnel Lead, train, and mentor assembly team members to ensure productivity and quality Schedule and assign work to meet production deadlines and customer expectations Monitor workmanship and enforce quality control standards Ensure compliance with safety procedures, OSHA standards, and company policies Assist with troubleshooting assembly or production issues Coordinate with warehouse, production, and management teams to maintain workflow efficiency Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching as needed Maintain accurate production records and reports Support continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements Qualifications Previous supervisory or leadership experience required Background in construction, plumbing, manufacturing, assembly, or related industry preferred Strong understanding of hand and power tools, assembly processes, and workplace safety Ability to read blueprints, work orders, or technical drawings is a plus Excellent communication and team leadership skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Proficient with basic computer systems and reporting tools High school diploma or GED required. Preferred Experience 3+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience Experience managing crews or production teams Knowledge of basic plumbing, construction materials, mechanical assembly, and basic electrical. Forklift certification or OSHA training is a plus Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift 50 lbs.
