Job Description

Distribution Production Supervisor Description We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead daily operations in a fast-paced automotive production and warehouse environment. This role is responsible for supervising employees, ensuring productivity and quality standards are met, maintaining workplace safety, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 1:30 AM, with mandatory Saturdays as needed based on customer demand. Employment Type & Shifts Full Time Temp to Hire 2nd Shift Job Responsibilities Supervise and support department employees daily. Schedule resources to meet production and customer requirements. Train, coach, and develop employees, including ride-along evaluations and certifications. Conduct audits to ensure SOP compliance and quality standards. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate vehicle processing and shipments. Handle employee relations matters, including coaching, disciplinary actions, and investigations. Investigate accidents and complete corrective actions as needed. Review and approve timekeeping in Kronos. Maintain safety, productivity, and efficiency standards. Communicate effectively with management, HR, quality teams, and customers. 3-5 years of supervisory experience with a strong employee relations background. Experience in manufacturing, assembly line, automotive, or warehouse operations. Knowledge of SOP, MRP, TQM, JIT, Kaizen, 5S, and visual management principles. Strong Microsoft Office and database skills. Valid driver's license required. Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicles. Must be able to walk, stand, bend, squat, kneel, climb, lift, push, and pull throughout the shift. Associate Requirements HS Diploma or GED Background Check Able to Lift 50 pounds Drug Test Must be at least 18 years old The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $33.65 - $36.06 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law.
