The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading 24/7 manufacturing operations to ensure products are produced safely, compliantly, on time, and within cost targets. This role oversees people, processes, and performance in a highly regulated GMP environment, driving continuous improvement while maintaining quality, safety, and customer service standards across the Tippecanoe site. RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide 24/7 production leadership, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operations year-round Lead, coach, and develop production employees through performance management, training, and feedback Build and sustain a strong safety culture aligned with ESHS and GMP requirements Ensure production schedules, material availability, and ticket reviews are completed accurately and on time Manage assigned processes across quality, safety, equipment, materials, and environmental compliance Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and cost control Serve as lead investigator, change owner, and subject matter expert for procedures and training Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and other site teams Ensure accurate documentation, audits, and adherence to standard operating procedures Actively support site priorities, business goals, and change initiatives through visible leadership REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma with a two-year technical degree or five years of leadership experience; Bachelor's degree preferred Previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong leadership, decision-making, coaching, and conflict resolution skills Demonstrated experience working in GMP or other heavily regulated environments Proven ability to manage flexible schedules, including 12-hour shifts and rotating coverage Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization capabilities Effective verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels Proficiency with Microsoft Office, SAP, DeltaV, or similar automation systems Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence Evonik offers a comprehensive benefit package, subject to plan eligibility, terms, and guidelines.
