PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
at our location in Michigan City, Indiana. Responsibilities Accomplish production expectations by selecting, training, and coaching employees Support employee performance by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and reviewing job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; enforcing policies and procedures Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, hiring, and training employees Develop personal growth opportunities for your direct reports Execute production plan by assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising production schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results to the Plant Manager Provide manufacturing information by compiling and analyzing production performance records and data through Epicor and other means Identify issues in efficiency and suggest and implement improvements Work cohesively across the organization and with all departments Maintain safe, clean, and well-organized work environment by directing personnel to maintain a high level of standards Work closely with Quality Department to drive exceptional assembly, testing, and finishing of products within the organization. Drive, monitor, and increase first pass yield through the test facilities. Communicate results weekly with the work teams. Resolve personnel issues in a timely manner Responsible for accuracy, approval, and timely submission of timecards Responsible for annual employee performance evaluations. Reviews must be thoroughly detailed and delivered in a timely manner.
