Shift Supervisor Needed To Push Excellence Rockland Flooring is looking for the next great Shift Supervisor who strives for efficiency and excellence in all they do. The ideal candidate is an experienced leader who can motivate their team, has a keen eye for getting to the root cause and implementing change. Nothing routine about this role. Rockland Flooring is North America's leading manufacturer of laminated hardwood flooring for use in the transportation industry. A far majority of the semi-trailers seen on the road likely have a Rockland Flooring quality product as its floor. Innovative products leading to US Patents, strong revenue growth, and a new manufacturing facility in Monon, IN all mean that we need to add to our strong management team. Position Overview As an experienced Shift Supervisor, you already know what a great manufacturing leader must do. Directly responsible for a team of Leads / Trainers, this position also has responsibility for managing more than 30 employees. In addition to daily production and safety goals, Rockland Flooring requires more: Problem Solve versus react to what is presented and always has been. We expect our Shift Supervisor to identify effective solutions Motivate and Inspire your team to push towards excellence. Lead by example. Get your hands dirty. People are Rockland's most important asset Expect to be involved in cross training, safety, and quality teams Take responsibility for the execution of daily production goals Minimum Requirements If you have manufacturing experience, lead a team of many employees and are Bi-lingual (English / Spanish), then you can learn our business.
