Your adventure awaits! Williamsburg Furniture, a division of Patrick Industries, is a furniture manufacturer located in Nappanee, Indiana. The Production Manager oversees daily manufacturing operations at Williamsburg Furniture. This position leads production teams, coordinates workflow and staffing, and ensures furniture products are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and according to quality standards.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • Direct day-to-day production activities across assigned manufacturing departments and ensure work is completed according to production schedules and customer requirements. Achieve productivity, efficiency, cost, quality, delivery, and safety goals through effective planning, communication, and team leadership.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of furniture-manufacturing processes, production equipment, materials, workflow, and quality expectations.
  • Resolve daily production challenges involving schedules, staffing, material availability, equipment utilization, workflow, and changing priorities.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, Quality, Maintenance, Shipping, Human Resources, and other departments to support accurate and timely order completion.
  • Review production schedules, work orders, performance metrics, quality concerns, and labor needs; communicate priorities and corrective actions to supervisors and team leads.
  • Support continuous-improvement activities that reduce waste, improve workflow, increase output, and strengthen product quality.
  • Maintain accurate production records and provide management with timely updates regarding output, staffing, quality, delays, and operational concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support production and business needs.

Lead, train, coach, mentor, and hold supervisors and team members accountable for performance, attendance, conduct, safety, and quality. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, applicable laws, and workplace standards. Qualifications and Skills 3+ years of progressively responsible work experience, including at least two years in a leadership role within a fast-paced environment; manufacturing experience is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams, set expectations, coach performance, and follow through on commitments.

Strong written, verbal, and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

Sound judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to make timely decisions in a changing production environment.

Strong organization, planning, prioritization, accountability, tact, diplomacy, and personal integrity.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn production-related systems and reports.
