JOB SUMMARY
The Harvest General Forman is responsible for overseeing daily harvest operations to ensure production, safety, food safety, regulatory, processing, and compliance is being achieved. This position has all harvest supervisors as direct reports, and hourly team members indirectly reporting. This position is responsible for assisting supervisors with their development and commitment with a continuous improvement mindset.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Direct and coordinate all harvest floor operations to meet daily production schedules and yields. Monitor staffing levels and support / work with supervisors in moving crewing as neededEnsure all equipment is operational with upper management and maintenanceDrive productivity improvements and engage the workforce.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Meat Industry experience required Working knowledge of the entire Harvest processOrganizational and time management skillsAbility to present ideas, concepts, issues, concerns, and questions in a well thought out, positive, and professional mannerAbility to foster an atmosphere of teamwork and respectFunctional with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointProficient in reading, speaking, writing English Clear communication skills verbally and in written form.
