Job Description
Key Responsibilities Crew Supervision:
Lead and coordinate the daily activities of the welding team, providing clear direction on work assignments and production goals.Technical Guidance:
Provide hands-on assistance and troubleshooting for welding procedures (MIG, TIG, Stick) to ensure proper penetration and structural integrity.Quality Inspections:
Conduct regular audits of finished welds to verify adherence to blueprint tolerances and material specification codes.Workflow Management:
Monitor production schedules and manage the flow of materials to prevent bottlenecks and ensure deadlines are met.Safety Enforcement:
Champion shop safety by enforcing PPE requirements, proper equipment usage, and clean workstation protocols.Equipment Maintenance:
Oversee the daily operation and basic maintenance of welding machines, grinders, and material handling equipment like jib cranes. Expectations A Weld Foreman must be a decisive leader who maintains high standards under pressure and adapts quickly to shifting production priorities. You should be a self-directed, detail-oriented mentor with the ability to anticipate and prevent shop-floor bottlenecks. Success in this role requires a balance of technical mastery and the communication skills necessary to manage a diverse team with minimal oversight. Employment Details- Full Time, Day Shift 6 am to 2:30 pm
