NOW HIRING - 2ND SHIFT SUPERVISOR
Louisville, KY $29.00/Hour 2nd Shift We are seeking an experienced and motivated 2nd Shift Supervisor to lead production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while meeting production goals. Responsibilities Complete production plans by scheduling and assigning personnel, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving issues, and reporting production results Direct and coordinate shift activities to meet daily production goals Oversee quality system requirements including SPC, quality metrics, and conformance to specifications Recommend and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and productivity Assist with customer issue resolution and corrective action activities Maintain customer quality standards and implement corrective actions as needed Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and address performance concerns Promote and maintain high standards for safety, housekeeping, and equipment maintenance Monitor attendance, maintain time-off calendars, and approve employee time records Conduct employee performance evaluations Lead and support manufacturing improvement projects Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor's Degree preferred Previous supervisory experience required Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment preferred Experience supervising in a union environment preferred Experience working with a diverse workforce Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Excellent organizational, leadership, and decision-making abilities Strong focus on safety, quality, and process improvement Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Kanban principles Ability to lead projects and drive continuous improvement initiatives Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work overtime and weekends as required Strong attendance and reliability record
