As the leader of a work crew, the Construction Foreman must be able to communicate effectively. He/she must have good people skills to work with crew, account managers, project managers, superintendents, general contractors, subcontractors and other construction trades on site. Foremen must have strong organizational and time-management skills; the ability to follow directions; and good record-keeping skills to manage timesheets and materials. Mechanical skills are necessary to make simple repairs. The foreman is also responsible for safely and efficiently installing a quality landscape per drawings and specifications that meet or exceed the expectations of Landscape Workshop and our clients. All positions are outdoors, very physical and fast paced. We typically work Monday-Friday. Estimated start time is 7:00 am till 4:30pm. End and start times vary depending on traffic, weather and job tasks. Construction may require overtime work including Saturday and Sunday. Out of town work is also possible.
