Plant Supervisor of Production- Industrial Laundry/Textiles

Loop Linen Service, Inc. is currently seeking an individual to become part of our company's Production Supervisory Team The ideal candidate should have the experience in managing a department with an employee population up to 40 people in a production manufacturing environment.

SCOPE:

Responsible for providing quantities of material of proper quality and at the proper time to meet demands of the finishing departments, namely flatwork, uniform, mats, and dry fold.

Reports to:

Plant Manager

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain a safe work practices for all employees in department and report all unsafe working conditions and/or equipment immediately to Safety Committee, Chief Engineer, and/or Plant Manager Establishes daily schedules to ensure proper flow of materials in all finishing departments. Ensures that proper production records are maintained. Coordinates production of his department with the demands of flatwork, mats, uniforms and dry fold departments. Ensures that all personnel under his authority are properly trained to perform their duties in the best possible manner. Maintains good housekeeping throughout his department. Also follows company safety program and other prudent safety precautions. Make daily spot checks to test quality of a finished product Responsible for discipline and morale in his department.

SKILLS :

prior manufacturing experience highly preferred Preferred production plant Supervisory experience preferably in a commercial laundry facility Computer intermediate or above preferred Must be fluent in

$46,800.00 - $52,000.00 per year (Negotiable depending on experience)

Schedule:

Flexibility needed shifts could be form 8-10 hours per day depending on Company needs 10 hour shift 8 hour shift
