Role:

Oversee daily operations, productivity, staffing, and performance within an assigned manufacturing area at VulcanForms\' Devens, MA facility. Lead, train, and support manufacturing personnel while ensuring the team has the materials, tools, equipment, and documentation required to meet production targets. Evaluate workforce requirements, process task times, and employee performance while identifying opportunities to improve safety, quality, throughput, and operational effectiveness. This is a 12-hour weekend night shift position scheduled from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM on Friday through Sunday, with alternating Thursdays. The position includes a 10% pay differential for applicable shifts not included in the standard base-pay shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise and train manufacturing staff within assigned production areas
• Lead, coach, and support team development to achieve maximum throughput
• Conduct daily standup meetings to discuss goals, needs, priorities, and solutions
• Prepare daily reports comparing production performance against planned manufacturing targets
• Ensure personnel have the necessary materials, tools, equipment, and documentation for upcoming shifts
• Develop workforce requirements and support the establishment of process task times
• Evaluate the performance of manufacturing production staff
• Identify areas for improvement and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement solutions
• Assess future production needs and develop plans to support operational requirements
• Enforce OSHA standards and administer corrective action when necessary
• Perform and support 7S and Lean improvement projects
• Promote a safe, accountable, productive, and collaborative manufacturing environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience managing a team of manufacturing professionals
• Experience leading a team within a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Experience working across multiple product industries with rigorous quality standards
• Self-motivated, hands-on, and practical, with the ability to set and achieve ambitious goals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, ERP systems, EPICOR, Outlook, and other business software as needed
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work a 12-hour weekend night shift schedule

Compensation:

• Annual base salary range: \$78,500.00 to \$101,000.00
• 10% pay differential for applicable shifts not included in the standard base-pay shifts
• Actual compensation based on skills, qualifications, and experience.
