Full Job Description Salary:

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $70,000

•$82,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your Responsibilities:

Supervise manufacturing personnel and assign work to support safe, efficient operations and on-time delivery of quality products that meet packaging, labeling, and product specifications. Lead continuous-improvement efforts using Six Sigma and lean manufacturing methodologies; partner with Manufacturing Engineering to improve productivity, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, scale up equipment, and implement effective operating guidelines. Maintain a safe working environment by supporting equipment upkeep, environmental controls, housekeeping, accident/incident investigations, corrective and preventive actions, and compliance with FUCHS/Nye EH&S requirements. Deploy and maintain quality management practices within manufacturing, including employee training, nonconforming product controls, document control, corrective/preventive action and problem-solving processes, and support of the Energy Management System (EnMS). Manage day-to-day people processes for the manufacturing department, including employee training, performance appraisals, discipline, staffing levels, and hiring, while providing leadership, tools, and support to the team. Review order backlog and finished-product inventory, coordinate manufacturing priorities and repackaging needs, and communicate effectively with Customer Service, Packaging, Shipping/Receiving, and upper management regarding production issues and requirements.

Qualifications we are looking for:

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred. 5+ years of supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing environment. 5+ years of experience with SAP; S/4HANA experience is a plus. Experience with label creation is also a plus. Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment and test procedures, with a disciplined approach to problem solving and the ability to evaluate both manufacturing and management processes. Basic math skills and the ability to understand verbal and written directions in English. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and move 55-gallon drums of material.
