Job Description Supervise and coordinate daily activities across a multi-shift chemical production operation. Lead production employees to ensure output, quality, safety, and operational targets are achieved. Develop, communicate, and manage production schedules across all shifts. Monitor raw material inventory levels and coordinate purchasing requirements to support uninterrupted operations. Partner with engineering and technical teams to implement process improvements and operational efficiencies. Coordinate workflows with quality, laboratory, wastewater, and order fulfillment functions. Investigate and resolve production issues while supporting employees in problem-solving activities. Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures, quality requirements, environmental regulations, and company safety standards. Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities when required. Maintain accurate operational documentation and support quality management initiatives. Train, mentor, and develop production personnel while promoting accountability and high performance. Support continuous improvement projects and assist with data collection and reporting activities. Step into operational duties when required to maintain business continuity. The Successful Applicant Proven experience supervising teams within a manufacturing, chemical processing, or industrial production environment. Strong understanding of chemical production processes and safe material handling practices. Ability to interpret technical documents, work instructions, and safety documentation. Experience managing employee performance, training, and workforce development. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Experience coordinating production schedules, inventory requirements, and operational resources. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and manufacturing systems such as ERP or SAP platforms. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Knowledge of quality management systems and continuous improvement methodologies. Chemistry education, metals processing experience, or related industrial training would be advantageous. Experience supporting engineering projects or process improvement initiatives is highly desirable.
