Direct Hire position from day one Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure the efficient production of high-quality products while meeting customer delivery requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership abilities, experience in a make-to-order manufacturing environment, and a proven track record of managing production schedules, personnel, and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Manage daily production operations to maximize throughput, efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. Develop and execute short- and long-term production schedules to meet customer deadlines and production goals. Coordinate job scheduling across internal work centers, multiple shifts, and subcontractors to balance workloads and maintain production flow. Communicate daily and weekly production priorities, schedules, and objectives to both first- and second-shift teams. Lead, mentor, and support shift foremen in supervising production personnel. Participate in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and employee development. Collaborate with engineering, quality, purchasing, and other departments to resolve operational issues and drive continuous improvement efforts. Monitor production performance and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and quality Prepare for and participate in weekly production meetings. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of manufacturing production management experience. Proven supervisory and team leadership experience. Experience in a make-to-order manufacturing environment. Strong blueprint reading and interpretation skills. Experience using ERP systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Precision sheet metal fabrication experience. Engineering background. Experience with quality management systems Knowledge of
ISO 9001
2015 standards and requirements. Schedule Monday through Friday Primarily first shift, with regular availability extending into second shift as needed to support operations
Compensation Salary:
