Production Supervisor, Coating Department

Job Summary We are seeking a hands on and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our Coating Department within a platics manufacturing facility. In this role, you will oversee daily operations on the production floor, ensuring that coating processes are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize workflow, and uphold safety protocols to maintain a productive and compliant environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to manufacturing excellence and support continuous improvement initiatives in a one site Leominster manufacturing operation serving OEM customers in the safety, military, lighting and eyewear markets. U.S. passport required. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all activities within the coating department, including application of coatings on various products. Lead and motivate a team of operators, ensuring adherence to production schedules and quality specifications. Monitor the use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment to ensure proper operation and safety compliance. Manage Department inventory levels of raw materials, coatings, and supplies Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, performing basic maintenance or coordinating repairs as needed. Enforce safety procedures and ensure all team members wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE). Document production data, shift reports, and incident logs accurately for continuous process improvement. Skills Proven experience working in a manufacturing facility with hands-on knowledge of coating or finishing processes. Strong mechanical knowledge related to factory equipment, assembly lines, and hand/power tools. Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Pay:

$1,100.00 - $1,300.00 per week
