Plant Supervisor

• Precast/Concrete Manufacturing
• Base Salary to 110k/year
• Sanford, ME Our client, a manufacturer of precast and finished concrete products, is seeking a Plant Supervisor to lead daily production operations within a manufacturing facility.

This role oversees plant personnel, production scheduling, and quality control, with a focus on producing consistent, high-quality concrete products (e.g., block, pavers, or similar formed products). This is a hands-on leadership role requiring experience supervising production in a precast concrete, concrete products, or heavy building materials manufacturing environment .

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily plant operations including production, staffing, and workflow coordination Lead production teams (operators, laborers, machine operators) to meet output and quality targets Develop and manage production schedules to support customer demand and on-time delivery Oversee manufacturing processes including batching, mixing, forming (molds/forms), curing, and finishing of concrete products Monitor and enforce quality control standards to minimize defects and ensure product consistency Ensure compliance with safety policies and OSHA standards in a heavy industrial environment Track and report production metrics (output, efficiency, downtime, scrap/reject rates) Partner with maintenance to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues Maintain plant cleanliness, organization, and overall operational standards

Qualifications:

4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment Prior experience in a supervisory, lead, or foreman role within a plant Experience managing production staff, schedules, and daily plant operations Experience in concrete manufacturing, precast, or related building materials production (strongly preferred but not required if transferable manufacturing leadership experience is present) Experience with quality control processes in a manufacturing environment Ability to read and interpret technical procedures and safety regulations Basic math skills (measurements, production calculations, percentages) Ability to work in a physically demanding industrial environment (lifting, standing, etc.)

Compensation:

Base salary in the 90k
