Manufacturing Supervisor - 2nd Shift near York, ME Adecco is hiring a Manufacturing Supervisor on 2nd Shift to lead daily production operations for a busy food manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on safety, quality, productivity, and team development.
What You'll Do:
Oversee daily manufacturing operations while ensuring safety, quality, and production goals are met. Lead, coach, and train employees to improve performance and develop skills. Monitor production schedules, efficiency, and department performance. Ensure quality, sanitation, food safety, and company standards are consistently followed. Learn and support all manufacturing processes, equipment, and production functions. Operate and troubleshoot production equipment as needed. Monitor timekeeping and payroll for accuracy. Provide direction and support to manufacturing and warehouse teams. Promote teamwork and a positive, productive work environment. Assist with staffing and operational decisions as needed. Help maintain department budgets and productivity goals. Enforce company policies related to safety, quality, sanitation, maintenance, and personnel. Work additional hours as needed based on business demands.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. 5-7 years of experience in food manufacturing preferred. At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Excel. Ability to operate electric/manual pallet jacks and forklifts. Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
Pay Details:
